The Emergency First Aid course is ideal for any staff member or employee who may find themselves required to take charge of a first aid emergency at work, whether due to an accident on-premises or a situation arising from a pre-existing health condition. Alternatively, they may be required to assist a qualified first-aider in similar instances.
As well as a perfect introduction to first-aid for beginners, the Health and Safety Executive recommends this course as a regular refresher even for qualified first aiders, and others who are responsible for workplace health and safety, in order to keep their skills and knowledge of best practices sharp and up-to-date.
This Emergency First Aid course is designed to deliver the knowledge, confidence and necessary basic skills required to implement emergency first aid at work, until a more qualified person becomes available to take charge of the situation.
